“We are about to have the COVID crisis transition into an eviction crisis,” warns Zahilay. “We are about to see homelessness balloon, we may see crime escalate to points we haven’t seen since the 80s and 90s. They (Congress) really should be thinking about the consequences of inaction and that is something we can’t come back from.”
