After readying for the release of her highly anticipated album for weeks, Coi Leray finally dropped her second, self-titled album, COI, on Friday. The drop follows a rollout of several well-received singles like “Bops” and “My Body,” as well as surprising collabs with grime artist Giggs and rising rap powerhouse Lola Brooke . The sophomore project is a follow-up to her album, Trendsetter , which came out in 2022. That album came to moderate acclaim but didn’t quite hit commercial expectations. Still, the 26-year-old seems ready to prove herself again with a much better-anticipated reception than the predecessor LP to this new drop.
