City Of Seattle To Expand Life-Saving Buprenorphine Pilot To Curb Opioid Overdoses

Seattle is expanding its Buprenorphine Pilot Program to include firefighters and EMTs, allowing them to administer the potentially life-saving medication to individuals experiencing severe opioid withdrawal, in an effort to reduce opioid overdoses.
