On Sunday, May 10, Charlamagne Tha God had an interesting interview on MSNBC show “Weekends With Alex Witt” where he joined a discussion about the shooting and killing of Ahmaud Arbery by father and son, Gregory McMichael and Travis McMichael.

Alex Witt seemed surprised when the radio personality suggested that black people in the United States should purchase legal firearms for protection.

Sharing his views on the same topic, Rev. Al Sharpton highlighted some of the changes he would like to see in the legal system of the U.S.

Alex Witt asked Charlamagne to also speak on the changes he wants to see in the legal system instead of asking blacks to arm themselves.

“I’m sure you also understand that the prospect of everybody going out there and using guns to make their points or defend themselves or attack, that may not turn out well in the big picture,” Witt told Charlamagne, but the radio personality corrected her.

Additionally, the radio personality told Witt and Al Sharpton that he had no faith in the country’s justice system as he has seen white people go scot-free after killing the blacks.
