CARIBBEAN Airlines (CAL) captured the best staff service award in Central America and the Caribbean at the 2024 World Airline Awards.
Skytrax, an international air transport rating company, hosted the awards at Fairmond Windsor Park, London, on June 24.
In a statement, CAL CEO Garvin Medera expressed pride in the staff and their achievement.
"At Caribbean Airlines, we focus on creating memorable travel experiences by delivering exceptional service with genuine warmth and friendliness...synonymous with the Caribbean spirit.
"Being recognised by our passengers and industry peers as the best in staff service is a significant honour, and it fuels our commitment to continue exceeding our customers’ expectations," he said.

The winners are determined by vote from a survey. The last survey ran from September 2023 to May 2024.
CAL said over 100 customer nationalities participated with 21.42 million eligible entries counted in the results.
"Survey entries are screened to identify IP and user information, with all duplicate, suspect or ineligible entries deleted," it said, adding that more than 350 airlines are featured in the final results.
Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted congratulated CAL.
"This service and hospitality accolade should be a source of pride for the management and staff of Caribbean Airlines."
CAL noted that Stytrax foots all costs associated with the survey and awards.
It said there are no charges to use award logos and results, nor do airlines pay any entry or registration fee.
