The former President of the Iyanola Council for the Advancement of Rastafari (ICAR), Aaron Alexander, has taken issue with both major political parties here, the United Workers Party (UWP) and the opposition Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP), declaring that under both administrations for decades Rastafarians have been imprisoned, brutalised and had their marijuana plantations destroyed. 'A vote for Labour or Flambeau is a vote against marijuana,' Alexander, who is the Castries Central candidate for the National Green Party (NGP) declared. 'How could somebody who supports cannabis, marijuana, in their right mind vote for either of those parties right now when
