The police have confirmed that two Venezuelan nationals were killed in a police-involved shooting on April 4 in the Southern Division.
The names and ages of the dead men had not been released by midday.
Newsday learned that the shooting occurred in the Tableland district.
It is unclear what weapon, if any, was found.
